CX Racing 70mm Throttle Body Question

Boostaddict, everyone who bought one will be interested in what you find as far as a fix goes. I'd be happy to convert my CX paperweight back to a throttle body.
I talked with Kevin at CX months ago and their fix was to just replace the seals which would not be a permanent fix. I read the thread on the other site and considered calling CX again but unless they re engineered it I don't think they have a solution.
A DIY fix has my interest. Fingers crossed.

FYI, I put up a DIY fix kit for sale over at 3si. After I make some more I'll put an ad over here too. The seals are a little annoying to make, but they work and are cheap.

The issue is that the bearings used on the TB are not designed to hold pressure. The only reasonable cost-effective fix was to install a very thin seal between the bearing and bearing pocket (I tried a variety of options).
