When I was stationed there a few of my favorite trips were to Barcelona, and Croatia (Pula area/peninsula), and Egypt tops my list of best trip thus far in my life - although that was a few years before the 'Arab Spring' events. I also did a lot of snowboarding here and there, and the glaciers are usually open all year round.

You said you've been to Germany, have you visited the Neuschwanstein castle?

    - Amsterdam...for obvious reasons, lol.
    - And I'd love to go back to Switzerland. It's just such a beautiful country. We went to Lucerne, took a boat ride across Lake Lucerne, to then take a 45deg. train ride up Mt. Pilatus. Got some pretty neat views from up there.
    - And I'd give Venice another shot. We only spent a half day there, so we were limited with what we could do. Would've been nice to get some extra time to explore a little more and get away from the heavy traffic touristy areas.
    - And I'm sure you've been to Munich, but I would definitely go back there (especially to the Hofbrauhaus). Probably the best city we visited in Germany.

I went there when our trip stopped in Munich. It was definitely one of the more memorable places we visited during the trip...so I'd definitely recommend this.

LOL Yeah Egypt should be crossed off the list. Venice would be my first choice based on location, not too far from Germany. But Rome or Naples would be great too. Spent just a few days in the area a couple years ago on a cruise, it was one of the best trips I've taken, wished we could have stayed longer.

Yea I have been to Munich I cant do the thing everyone goes to Amsterdam for since I'm in the army but still would make a great trip. When I get home I'm going to figure out where to go my bank usaa gives hotel discounts so im set on that I have my wife's Altima Hybird here that thing gets 35+mpg so distance dosent matter to much plus a flight to pretty much anywhere in Europe is cheap

Venice Austria or Italy because I wanted to see the Glock factory near Venice Austria.
