My "good" GTO which is basicly standard, a cold start, 1500 RPMs gives 20 in of vac.

Cam timing will be "out" along with the ignition timing, which is dependant on the rear cam.

I've got the Vac reduction and EGR blockoff plates as well. I was told that 15hg was good for the car. I don't remember the actual numbers but they where well within spec and no variation between cylinders.

    15in of Hg is BAD.

I'll try to get my hands on another comp checker. Until then I'm going to block off the brake booster and everything else and see if that helps the vac as the brake booster is OEM.

See, I'll be up all night as I cannot sleep. This whole thing is bothering the hell out of me.

With the car 100% cold, the vacuum reads 10hg and once the IACV starts to switch as the car warms up it goes to 15hg.

thats why its back firing out the plenum. see if you can measur the depth of the valves from the top of the head, if the valves on #3 and lower than the rest then your going to have to pull the head. just get a light and look into the port of that cylinder too just see if you got light down there with valves shut. pull a plug and shine a bright light in the cylinder via plug hole and look down port.

I'm not going to fool with it. Everytime I run into a problem, I have to rebuild the entire engine and I'm done with it. I am going to try to find a complete donar engine.

lol...I get pissed off for a little bit and had a few choice words with the shop that revamped my heads...that cooled me off a little bit.

I already found another front head and I will be picking it up Monday. Also, already ordered new VSS and a new HG for it as well. I will try and post up pictures of the progress as well.
