Very very clean Supra. I'm sure it was worth the price tag. Buying a car like this and doing a simple mod list will still get you a faster reliable car than going out to buy a new Z06, GTR, or even more exotics. I'd definitely go that direction if I was looking at spending $30k+ up front on a car. I won't do that until I get a house first though but it's nice to see some clean examples running around as I'm sure it's getting harder to find for a reasonable price tag.
95 RT/TT Billet TD04s E70, DW1000cc injectors, ARC-2 with 92mm maf, 3SX fuel rail loop, hotwired Walbro 416/485, 3" FMIC, single small Krank vent, DR 3.5" downpipe and cat-back, DNP 02 housings, Hallman Pro MBC, BlackStealth LCDBC, AEM wideband, AEM oil pressure, Apexi S1 coilovers with SCE EVO 8/9 adapters, 3SX adjustable control arms, Spec 3+ clutch, Maximal solids/3SX poly motor mounts, Setrab custom SMOC, stock motor 127k miles, stock drivetrain.

I debated going a different direction and was cross-shopping the C6 Z06, Viper and the GT500 among a few others. When it came down to it, the only thing I truly wanted more than a Supra was a Hardtop Supra...!

The stock twins in kill mode are fun, but I've really gotten the itch to put a small single on it. I miss the simplicity and frankly the sound of the single setup so I'm probably going to run a 6266 with the stock fuel system, MAS, etc... for awhile. The stock fuel system is good for ~525WHP which is sufficient in the relative short term. I have the turbo kit from my previous Supra so I just need to order the turbo, a new oil line kit and and misc. gaskets, etc.. and set aside a weekend to do it. Once I get bored with the 1g Talon I'm fooling around with I'll sell it and then start the big build with the Supra.

I rarely took the top off of either of my previous because 1) it's a pain in the ass and 2) the entire car turned it a floppy wet noodle.
The lack of or presence of a solid top really makes a huge difference! I drove a Spyder yesterday and the entire time all I could think about was how much I could feel the chassis flexing lol. Floppy wet noodle sums it up perfectly.

I've never really noticed it in a convertible before even though I've had 2 s2000s. Those are known to have extremely high chassis rigidity for a convertible.

So clean... I prefer Supras with the wing, though

You should put more 1/4 mile and dyno results in your sig! Even cars you've sold... At least the 11-second ones

Just out of curiosity, are you taking big financial hits on these cars or do you buy them in good enough shape, own them for a short enough duration, and clean them up enough that the cost of ownership is relatively low? Just curious because you're definitely doing this hobby RIGHT.
