FS: TD04 Turbo Cutaway! Great Desk or Garage Display Piece! *Limited Edition*

    Hey Everybody!

I decided to make a limited run of turbo cutaways and post them up for sale. I will probably make a total of 4 to 6 of these as I don't want to use too many sets of our cores doing this considering we have a 400 dollar core charge so chopping up a bunch of turbos could get kind of expensive.

Up for sale right now I've got a TD04 13C turbo cutaway. (most of the others will be 9B compressor wheels fyi).

These are cleaned, dis-assembled, coated, then re-assembled to what you see in the picture. I've cut them so the oil return faces down which coincidentally makes it fairly easy to make up a little bracket to hold it upright or stick two short bolts in and it will hold itself upright. These are just the CHRA's. If you want a compressor cover cutaway too add 50 dollars.

I think given the parts and time that go into these (for instance this is a perfectly good 13C wheel etc) I'll start by asking 200.00

If desired I can paint the oil feed lines so they stand out more.

Edit: In this picture the turbine shaft wheel still had some baked on gunk on the blades, I bead blasted it more and re-assembled but I didn't take another picture

Love the idea, Would be nice to paint the oil/coolant parts contrasting colors.

You are using none rebuildable cores correct.... Hate to see you using a bunch of good cores to make these?!?!?

    Check it out on Youtube!!

I've got a blown 13G sitting at home. How much for me to send it to you and cut?

Yeah the last one I did I painted the oil feed areas red so it stood out . I could definitely do that with these ones too. Yep, these are cores that we bought back in the day when we weren't having people send them in for inspection before paying for them so these are all the ones we bought that turned out to be unusable.

Dave: Do you want just the chra cut or do you want a compressor cover cut too? Our shop rate is 65 an hour and with the dis-assembly, cleaning, cutting, painting, and re-assembly we're probably looking at about 2 hours so 130 for the CHRA only. Add another 25 if you want the comp cover cut too. Add return shipping, probably about 13 dollars for a flat rate box back to you.

Let me know if you wanna send yours in!
