GM of New Orleans Saints Caught Eavesdropping on Opposing Coaching Staff

This team is a class act.

Sources: New Orleans Saints' Mickey Loomis could eavesdrop on opposing coaches during home games - ESPN

He is denying it across the board. That worked well for them last time on the bounty issue.

I don't think so, Cowboys suck at home and on the road.

It's strange that he would do that, because it really doesn't provide much of an advantage. He'd have to know how to decipher the terminology, all teams have different ways of calling plays, then he'd have to get the play call down to the coaches and the coaches would have to signal in the play to the Saints. It seems almost impossible to do that in the amount of time between snaps. The only thing I guess he could get from it, would be some conversations about injured players which might give the team an advantage in calling plays that would put the injured player in a bad coverage situation.

They are probably listening to them in the locker room. Half time plans etc. They are hard to beat at home, they almost never lost there so IDK it must have paid off till now.

From what I saw on ESPN, it was the communications between the coaches in the booth and on the sidelines that was being listened to. Also, this was back in 2002-2004, when the team was only average at best.

its disgusting imo, but at the same time, i cant see how it would benefit us all that much. from what reporters were saying, there was no communication between him and the coaching staff during the game, also, what 93STLTH said about the terminology and stuff, no way a gm would be able to decipher that. We were 12-12 at home during that time frame, so obviously it didnt pay off that much. with that said, he needs to be fired now.

so obviously it didn't help them AT THAT TIME...but it did pay off a couple years later. as far as my official record, i'm stating the colts lost that SB because the "who dat" nation broke the rules.

    Following the N.E. blueprint.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
