thats a great idea and im def gonna steal it lol. my engine and trans are out anyways. ill be out of school for the summer in a few days so ill let you guys know how it looks.

oh and its a dark green car vr4 with dodge stealth style 2 tone paint job. black roof, trim, ect. i think it will look great plus im tired of looking at scratches from when a tool slips and hits the fender well.

just my .02¢ but black is horrible in an engine bay unless the entire car is that color...agree that the bay should match the exterior, also gloss like the rest of the car and lighter colors are easier and nicer to work in, black is hard to see shit when yer workin on stuff or lookin for leaks n what not...same with those guys who go with flat/matte black finished engine blocks and parts, you can't see leaks as easily and it's more of a pain to clean up...

I say polished, gloss and bright are the best three options under the hood

yeah, my #1 concern when selected my car's paint is if I can see leaks, LOL.

Give me a break, a car put together right isn't going to leak.

No, true, but I'm talkin repainting and choosing options, obviously a person isn't going to choose a color option for that reason...same with matte finishes being harder to keep clean...I was just pointing out different facts and opinions on the matter is all
