Yeah we have quite a few of the up here as well. Amazing creatures to share space with. Their call will bring chills to your spine If not expecting it. I watched one while i was out fishing dive and steal a guys fish he was realing in. It yanked the hook out with the force, then dropped it from the cheering/screaming from the other boats.

I had one dive into the water no more than 10 feet from me in the Keys. It flapped around on the surface for a few seconds as it made sure it had a good grip on it's catch and then flew off. It's one of those experiences that you never forget.

That is incredibly dramatic - love to see it when it's finished.

I really wish I had a better feel for cameras and a compulsion to be properly equipped at all times, I've seen stuff like that from a distance many times, but never had a camera with me, in any case.

Thank God for the people who do this stuff...
