Torque converter to flex plate bolts.

What size are they? How in the hell do you get a wrench on these mofos?

Remove the starter, rotate the crank until the bolts line up with the hole where the starter goes. Then stick a wrench in there and turn CCW.

You should also have the lower engine to trans brackets and the lower dust/debris shield removed by now.

I think the flex plate bolts were 15 or 17 mm.

The engine is completely out of the car and the trans is separated from the engine and for the life of me I cannot get a wrench on the bolts.

Get at it on the bottom side of the engine. At the oil pan.

You can do this. Go look and report back.
