::WINNER:: April Car of the Month Winner :: Granny!

    Congratulations to Granny & her

“Buy it! You’ll look good driving it.” Hubby said

What a sucker I was that day but it was love at first sight .
Neither one of us had a clue to the chaos this little red car would bring to our life.

In six years of ownership we are on our fifth engine and fifth transmission rebuild but even at it’s worse I couldn’t bring myself to give up and part out. Not just because of the car itself but what it represented.

Two years after we purchased the car everything changed when the local mitsu dealer gave us DJ’s phone number and said he owned E.T. Motorsports which specialized in Mitsubishi and DSM’s.
Thirty minutes after walking into his shop we were scheduling the car to have an AFC installed and 4 years later it hasn’t stopped.

The real project began after the third engine failure and we all dedicated to building a FWDATXTT.

There have been hurdles in making this project work none of us could have predicted but DJ has been relentless in finding resolutions so we can continue to move forward.

    What it represents?
Obviously all the hard work but more important the friends I have made along the journey.
DJ who has become my friend and teacher and probably one of the few shop owners that makes house calls.
All the wonderful people that have came into my life because I bought a 3S.
What I have learned....Just enough to know I don't know shit!

Our goal is to be the fastest FWD stock turbo car….Oh and get a paint job.
