advanced knock issues

idk about calculations but i can say from experience that the logger does not report IDC's correctly. you CANNOT go more than 100% of what the injector can give. it just doesnt make sense. i have no idea how off the logger is, but it is definitely not accurate.

with that being said, i wouldnt run my injectors over the 100% mark (on the logger) if i could help it. have i done it? yeah. but i dont recommend it. and im not talking to spddmn, im talking in general.

spddmn's plans for this weekend are to clean the iac, and do a pressure test/check. check plugs, regap if necessary, and check the TPS. after all of that i know he plans to lower the timing back some, and try datalogging again. he is also doing the greddy spec 2, hids, and safc2 this weekend.

in other words, he is on top of trying to get this figured out, and im here to kick him in the butt if he doesnt.

Lots of stuff to do with the car this weekend. I made a list today in class while I was thinking of everything. I hope to fix all my issues in one fell swoop. I will report back with results of all of these checks/tests

I also plan on giving Nathan plenty of motivation to get that "unicorn 3.7L build" going... He better have JDM land parts when this semester finishes up is all I can say about that.

well the car is up to 18psi now and seems to be running flawlessly. he wired in his safc 2 and greddy profec b spec 2 over last weekend. set the base timing to 0 and turned up the boost. tonight him and i are going to be playing with the timing some more to see if we cant squeeze a degree or two out of it. then he will lower the boost down a tad, and thats how it will be kept.
