We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

I took care removing the old top. Mostly so if something went wrong I could put it back, otherwise I plan to sell it.

Glad to see you didn't chop the top and weld in the new. Drilling spot welds is long and hard work but a much better option.

Very clean work, looks like you are doing it the best way possible too!

Not often you see projects look that clean while in progress.

Yeah I've drilled out a crap ton of spot welds between my car and the donor car. Only have a few more to go heh. I did run into a snag today. Looks like the rails are different to account for extra sheet metal that ties in the roof. I'll have to dent a section in. The rest of it looks like it should clear fine but I'll have to figure out something to strengthen where they did. I'm guessing they did it for a reason so I should follow it.

Section the B pilliar crown 1" where the transition in the hardtop is too high. To strengthen the top of the arch at the B-pilliar lace in some 22 gauge from the top of the arch and drill some holes with a spot weld cutter so you can tack the pate in place from the underside when you lace it back in between layer 1 and two. Drill new holes in the sunroof tie section and weave the steel plate into that side and weld it back in. You going to stich weld the roof back in or tack weld back in?

Man, what a cool project! You've got huge balls for doing that to a cherry car! Are you going to keep it blacktop or paint it white when you're done? How long you been working on this?
