WANTED INTRAX SPRINGS for NON ECS 1997 VR-4

Looking for a set of intrax springs for my 1997 VR-4.

Rear spring # 47-020 (printed on rear spring)

why do you want intrax?

Because they make a spring that fits the rear of a non ECS vr4 (96-97).

you could just swap the rear upper strut mount to an "ecs" one and run any lowering springs.

This is true! But the insulation top mount is not cheap from Mitsubishi. Plus it still won't fit the lower mount on the strut perfectly.

Couldn't you swap in some ecs struts, mix and match parts from you stockers with any other lowering springs? At least that was my thought as I was going to pick up some rear ecs cheap from ebay.

I never did like the over sized eibach springs on stock non ecs rear perch - didn't know intrax made rears that fit. Thanks for the info.
