I'd have to check into it more. What we use them for has very short periods of heat and plenty of cool down.
I have a metal SLS at work that is big enough for a plenum.

But... we do have a shit ton of stuff. a hand full of FDM's 3 monster SLS's and now a BITCHN AWESOME Objet.

Sometimes... my job is fun. HAHA

And TAZ... Looks like he just converted the entire upper plenum to a storage reservoir and bolted it to the lower...

Oh man these are effin sexy!!!

Still waiting for a reasonable priced mani that allows rear spark plug access and clears stock hood.

So I was going to try and design something today but it looks a lot more difficult that I thought it would be. The NA lower is so close the valve cover. You will also have to re-route the oil feed line for the rear turbo. Maybe you can bend it out of the way. I may just wait for my tax return and see what's available at the time. The DR plenum at $1k is looking pretty good right now.

Here are some pics. Fortunately I have an extra TT plenum, na lower, and an extra engine that is out of the car. There wouldn't be a better time for me to try to fab something up while I still have the motor kicking around. Also ImportPower has the remote IAC blocks for sale if anyone is interested.

Definitely close, maybe a small phenolic spacer or something under the lower would give it a bit more clearance? Really doesn't need much though, so should be fine without it. Worst case, might could shave a touch off of the rear VC.

Yep, no room. Now wait to you see how little room there is to hood. It seems that the ideal runner length for biggish sized turbos is difficult to achieve with a big plenum because the plenum would end up right at or before the high spot of valve cover. Can't go much above it because of hood clearance so you end up with a compromise of either to long or too short. For td04 I see no reason to go with anything other than XM. Seems a good fit and is cheap.

Did you bolt down the na lower or just simply place it on there. I know when I bolt mine down it moves the entire back end UP.

It was bolted down but the engine is kind of leaning a little forward on the engine stand so its deceiving. I'd like to see pics of the xm installed on an NA lower. I don't want to be the Guinea pig though.
