Someone really needs to make an intake without the upper/lower transition, and the s-bend. The runners should come straight out of the port, with no turns, with trumpets at the ends, and either 2 plenums in an x configuration, or one large plenum. No ground up, serious racing mani's for v engines use the stupid stock style setup our cars have. Again, for reference.

adrenaline_vr4 had an intake manifold like that (the first one, heh), Donnie. I just spent a few minutes searching 3Si for pictures, but it appears they're all dead. I know I've got pictures at home... He cut a slot in his hood, AAM style.

IIRC Wayne K has one. I can't ever remember his exact username, but it has boost in it. Let me look for it.

EDIT: BoostAddict and I was wrong, he still had the bends, they're just really short.

the problem is space marshall had one from altered altmosphere, surge tank was smaller than i would like. but it used the stock lower intake.

If you made wone with both lower and upper being one peice design would be pretty exspensive and hard to make due to fuel rail and angle of our bolt patterns. i looked into before i made mine.

I also looked into have a clam shell intake design made too. but that is about 2k.

What I've found out so far, it's $300 for the main plenum, $100 for the velocity stacks, and another $200 for the billet 90mm throttle body that's cut for the plenum. It can be ordered for drivers side or passenger side.

Good pricing. Wish we had a good short runner mani available at a decent price. Nelson will sell his short-runner, box style intake that he says fits under the stock hood for only $3000.
