I wonder if todd93rs still has the AAM unit...maybe we could take some quick measurements from it and do a quick VD pull with it...
Plenum volume on that will be low, prob around 2 liters. Can't say if that's good or bad since it's prob close to Nelson's.
Would be great if you could test on your car Nomie!
1992 Kilder Green VR4 - First 4G swap in a 3S. 2.0, auto, awd. 9.65 at 143mph. Now LS swapped. 8.52 at 162.
I'd love to test that along with a N/A plenum as well. Hell I'm ready to test whatever anyone has...
Send me a baseline VD graph after your recent changes; then let's talk![]()
Shipment from japan arrives Wednesday..![]()
Well if you can't find the right tool in your garage, Mr Illinois, you don't belong near a car.....
I found some more pics of another custom made one. This one actually looks really simple to make. 4 pieces that could easily be cut out and welded together. I went through the guys build thread though and he had no install pics.
Also stumbled accross this one. The lower section came off a 3.5L Kia and he custom made the top section.

There are quite a few one-off manis out there. Too bad no one did any back to back testing with either dyno or track runs.
