Thread: I want this plenum... anyone know who made it?

  1. #171
I'd like a bigger plenum for my car too. I have an extra lower portion already incase I ever wanted to port it. In regards to the dimanted 80mm one, couldn't you just run each side down a band saw? Cut the throttle body housing off the right side, and the cap portion off the left, swap sides, reweld on? Then you wouldn' thave to mess with the runners at all. That may be the cheapest bang for the buck option out there. Then port the lower stock portion to mate up with the slightly larger dimanted openings.

Only thing Dave posted was that it was from another Pampena built car (italograsso which made 900+), and that he ordered it from GCtech. I messaged Gil on facebook to see if he could share some info, or maybe build me a manifold using a NA runners with a largers better flowing tank.

Why mess with waiting for years when you can order the XM manifold that looks to be as good or better design for $500??????

Anyone that's wants a mani with little to no loss of low end with a nice increase in power won't find a more cost effective manifold unless they have the ability to make it on their own or have a "hook up" with a fab guy.

Is the XM Manifold thing really happening? I thought they needed 10 people. Could we just buy their diamante 3.5 tank with a q45 flange and weld it to an NA plenum lower half ourselves?

Also I found info out about the diamante intake. 69mm TB opening, could be bored out a little more, but it's a lot bigger than stock. Someone cut the ends off and swapped them like I was talking about.

looks nice but we need some data to back that up...

Found some more...This car is using a stock hood...looks like it shouldn't be *too* hard to replicate..?? Almost looks like the one above but with shorter runners and a bigger tank

Badass3000's looks very similar to the DR. Maybe an early product?

Also, this car (w/ DR installed) I believe:
