    Weighed my car today...

It's been a while since I last weighed my car so many new mods and many parts removed. I pull on the scale basically running on fumes and it weighed in at 3380lbs! Fueled up (just under 20 gallons of fuel) and reweighed at 3500lbs!! Both of these are without me in the car. Super stoked to see the weight as low as it was.

    Weight reduction mods:
    -Wed Sport TC005 18x9 w/ 265 tires
    -fiberglass hood
    -1pc CFDS
    -Braille 15lb battery
    -IPS single shot
    -Megan coilovers
-front and rear solid motor mounts
    -gutted precats
-removed tow hooks and other various brackets
-removed front & rear bumpers (the metal not the plastic covers)
    -removed spare and jack

    Added:
    -Infinity Basslink sub (20lbs)
    -Maximal Tcase bracket

Other things I forgot to list:
    -Switched to non-power antenna
    -Emissions removed
    -Vac reduction.
    -Active exhaust motor removed
    -ECS computer removed
    -Maximal rear control arm

Any other things you guys think I could do to lighten it up more (without it starting to look gutted and uncomfortable)? Seats are on my to do list, just gotta find some that I like and save up the funds.

Also just wondering how to compare my car's weight against others...how much fuel do most people weigh their cars with? What about manufacturer weights, those are normally dry weight right?

Well I weighted my 92 RT-TT at 3680 with me in it (190 lbs). The only weight saving things I had was 18x9.5 5zigen fn01r-c's. 3 1/2 inch single exit exhaust that dumped at axle (weighted about 15 lbs total), DNP hardipe kit and Tein S techs with ECS struts (not really a weight saver now that I think about it lol). My interior was stock as was the rest of the body and car. I did remove the spare tire (forgot to take the jack out lol). Mine was weighted at a drag strip (Brainard MN) so I dont know how accurate it was but it seems like your car should weight less for what you've done to it compared to mine.

One thing you could do is get racing seats, that will save you probably around 100 lbs.

Hmm, your car seems to light for being so close to stock.

Seats are definitely on my list of things to do...my driver's seat has a HUGE tear in it. But I want to find the lightest aftermarket seats that are still leather and comfortable. I see that corbeau makes the A4 in leather, that might be a possibility.

how daily driveable are you looking for here? are things like ac, cruise, etc out of the question?

Yeah I wanna keep ac and cruise control. I'm not really sure how much weight is left (at least that I'm willing to loose), the only plans I have right now are the seats and AWS delete.

About another 1000 pounds It depends on how much time you want to put into it. It theres a day when you can remove the entire interior, there is all sorts of brackets, plates, extra bolts, and other crap in there that can be removed, and you'll never know with the interior back in. Airbags save a decent amount if you want to get rid of them.

Front and rear crash bars are a lot of weight in these cars.

My car weighs 2760lbs with almost a half tank of gas. I have gone through and removed just about everything possible. I had removed a couple hundred pounds at one point while still reataining a "full interior".

All it takes is a little time.

Most of the stuff you actually see in the interior is the light stuff, its whats behind them.
