Whats a "full interior"? Well its a car that s interior has not been "gutted". A gutted interior is any interior missing a substantial amount of the basic interior components like front seats, full dash, door panels, carpet, headliner, audio system, etc. Cars with custom audio installs that take the place of normal interior components or a car with one or two basic interior components missing are still considered full interior cars. The basic rule of thumb is that if you look into the car and see more metal than interior panels, carpet, and plastic then your car has a gutted interior.

Oops an error was caught in the Drag race class descriptions.

ALL classes except the unlimited class also carry a limit of can not be faster then 11.5 seconds. Sorry about the confusion. I'll get the website fixed tonight.

First off I'm not attending so you can blow me off as you see fit...butttt...

Uhhh...seriously? So the regular/street AWD 3/S class becomes a bracket race to see who can dial their car back to run as close as possible to 11.50 without breaking out?

Lift that on both the stock MAF and regular one and may the best man/woman win. The "interior" definitition works other than that to differentiate the race cars from the street cars. Kind of similar to what alot of the race series' do with "must have full interior from the front seats forward". One of those things where if you're in the drivers seat and look around (and you ignore the rearview mirror) you would think you're in a stock-ish car.

Trevor, You and your opinions always will get my attention and respect. This is a rule that really only works with the group that comes to the NG.

The limit on time has been in the rules for a few years. Its really just to pull the hard core guys into their own group. Of the people that come to the NG and have cars fast enough to beat the 11.5, none of them have a personality that would let them run their car at anything short of its full potential.

If we even thought that some of the fast cars would hold back to win we'd come up with some other metric to divide them.

I don't think I'll run faster than 11.5, but it's possible. Does that limit apply to the other class?
