peyton has a few good years left in him, that i believe. indy just found itself in a situation that just doesn't come around that often. they've consistently won their division--and then this year dropped to worst record in NFL. that, combined with an exceptional QB coming available, and their current QB "over the hill" (in NFL terms) just made a perfect conflux that spelled the end of peyton in indy.

peyton will produce no matter where he goes. his salary is hardly "wasted". peyton will have more career longevity than flutie and much more relevance than favre. he'll also know when to quit. peyton will become the larry bird of the NFL. he will be a coach, and could likely be a team president someday.

now the word is that he knows or has ties with people on 3 of these teams (miami being the odd-man-out). personally, i don't see tebow mania drying up this fast. maybe if he was one & done, but that's not what happened, and i think denver will want to keep him around--so manning isn't a solid play for them. so in my book, cards, titans and dolphins--but i do think titans have the best shot.

I agree, some people around here have been down playing him going to the Titans but I’m starting to think it will happen. The only state that likes the guy more than Indy is Tennessee. Bud Adams has made it pretty clear he will do what it takes and for good reason. He will be able to sell out preseason games with Peyton here. lol

I picked Miami in the poll, but it's looking more and more like Denver will be the best fit for him. AFC team, weak division, talent on both sides of the ball and with Elway running the franchise, he'll pay a big contract for a QB of Manning's stature.
