    Ordering Beer Online

I've been trying to find a place to order some Allagash White Ale online with no luck. I called Allagash and they directed me to BevMo but they can't ship that particular beer to Michigan.

I checked another site and it was going to be around $26 for a 4-pack, not happening (didn't go any further to see if shipping was possible). Any suggestions?

Edit: Have checked 3 other websites since posting, all being unable to ship that beer to Michigan.

I have been thinking about getting some beers online. I need to get more added to my collection of bottles.

I also need to order some beer glasses.

You can't usually find the beers I like at a gas station. I really like Leinkugel's Sunset Wheat and Belgian White by Shock Top, however, I want to try something else while keeping with a witbier. After drinking a good beer, Bud Light and all those other big names just tastes like river water.

They sell shock top at the gas stations here, but i understand, what about... a liquor store that orders it for you?

I ordered a bunch of crazy shit through stores, they usually work with you.

Never found any places that sell it cheap to MI, as I've wanted to try some russian river brews. But if your just looking for some good whites you should be able to find a good beer store locally. I have 4 beer stores within 15 minutes that have hundreds of craft beers.

Ordering works but a lot of small breweries only ship to so many states.

The fact that I can't get it shipped to Michigan makes me want it even more lol

The liquor store downtown has a huge selection of craft brews (I've sampled plenty), just want to try something new.

Isaac, Michigan is a control state, and there is a thicket of prohibitions on the pre-retail movement of alcohol inside it's borders.

What you want to do is find the biggest, most cooperative package store you can, to see if they will undertake to find your requests.

Every brewer/distiller on the planet has to get permission from the MLCC to market any-and-every product they wish to sell in-state.

This all assumes you wish to stay on the right side of the law.

Do you know anyone who lives in Maine who could buy it and ship it to you? I ran into the same thing trying to buy wine from a winery in St. Augustine FL, they won't ship to TX. So I just paid a buddy of mine to buy a couple cases and ship them. It was expensive, so it's best to buy a lot to lower the total unit cost. Buying 4 cases ended up being pretty reasonable.
