MAFT connector is 3 pin while GM MAF is 5 pin?

So I ordered the MAFT with a 3 inch GM MAF from Pampena Motorsports a few weeks back. I finally (believe I) worked out the bugs on the car before installing the MAFT. Since I got everything running well, I decided to throw in the MAFT since I will be going down the strip Sat. morning. After pressure testing everything, I go to install the maft to the stock mas harness and into the GM MAF when I realize the connectors don't match!!

Am I just an idiot or was I sent out the wrong MAF?

I know the LS6 MAF has a 5 pin connector but my MAF is definately not 3.75 in size.

Thoughts/insight?

You need a 3 to 5 pin converter. Both work.

The extra two pins are for air temp.

Thanks. I actually found the harness wedged inside the box it was delivered in. I was lucky that I didn't throw it out.. ;[p

Now to figure out why my car is slower than before the MAFT install..
Logs actually look better than when I was stock.
