OK, the wife and I are thinking of turning this into an anniversary trip (which is May 16th) by heading to Myrtle Beach for the week after leaving the ECG. Looking at the map I see Google maps taking small roads after leaving I-95 in NC. Has anyone traveled this route to MB? ( I think one of them was RT 131). From Ohio we usually go I-77 to Charlotte, then small roads through SC, so this other route would be totally unfamiliar to us. One advantage of doing this is our anniversary week is usually bike week in MB and after having been through that once, we'd never do that again.
