Where can I buy one of these?

I need to replace this connector due to the clasp breaking on the firewall side of the cable. I replaced the cable that connects to the starter, but it comes loose all the time to prevent my car from starting. I would like to keep the stock connector setup if possible. Let me know if you need any more details.

Just cut it off and get a set of wire terminals from radioshack. I cut mine off years ago.

Even if you found a replacement one it would be as old and fragile as the one you have now......

Junkyard. Mine is on a 92 and still works like new so its not like they are all fragile. Just make sure when you splice wires that you SOLDER and heat shrink wrap the connections!

Or just put the conector together and heatshrink the whole conector.
Heatshrink comes in all sizes, once you have done that it wont come apart unless you cut the heatshrink.

You'll have to source a parts car for it. OEM doesn't sell many (if any) pigtails anymore.

    Should be 16 gauge.

There's a ton of these on the car. Probably some that aren't even used that you could just cut off. That's the same connector also used on either the power window or power seat motors. I have one of these and one of the other common 2 pin connectors cut and ready for unexpected situations and I've needed them both a few times already. I keep them with my jumper cables, tire patch kit and stuff like that. These 2 spare connectors along with a 9v battery allow me to move a power seat forward/back or roll a window up/down on any 3/s with no power for whatever reason

Anyway if you need one, I have several of them on extra harness segments (I'm an hour away). Or you could check with Gonzo, he's up your way.
Or you could go spend a few $ at radio shack or walmart on these and wire up your own.
