What are the difference between 1G VR4 Brakes and 2G VR4 Brakes. What pads/rotors do you guys recommend?

The rotors are taller on the front on 2nd gen and the rears are two piston instead of one. The rears are the same as NA on 1st gen.

Pad recommendations would be Carbotech or Porterfield. 1st gen rotors pretty much any non endslotted rotor would be fine, 2nd gen your choices are much more limited since the hat has been known to separate from the rotor on the front brakes. Raceshoppers signature series has been recommended as have KVR brakes.

This would be my recommendation as well. I can't verify how good they are on the track but I would recommend R1 Concepts as well for rotors.
