LOL BT ... I was gleaning for info on head units and saw you sold your 350Z last year...or at least you were working on it. I am pretty impressed with the rogue we bought... I can see investing in one of their sports cars in the future =)

Yep, sold it almost a year ago right before my wife got pregnant. A couple years from now I'll likely be in the market for another car and the 370Z is definitely on the short list. I'll have to choose between that, the new 5.0 stang, a CTS-V, or a BRZ. A VR-4 Spyder is also a distinct possibility.

Interested to see how quickly goodies start popping up for the BRZ.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

We've got really similar taste in cars. If I had to buy a new car today I'd really consider the 5.0. I've heard the boss 302 will be made in extremely limited production numbers, but one can dream... A Spyder will always be on my short-list and I hadn't even heard of the BRZ until just now. Thanks for the heads-up on that one...... Nevermind -- It's RWD?! WTF Subaru. If it's RWD, there's no reason to choose it over a 5.0 IMO.

We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

My ideal Mustang would be a Boss. I've been drooling over them. As for the BRZ, it's a Miata for straight men. It's 2600 lbs with a ridiculously low cg. Making it AWD would not be optimal, especially with only a 4-banger. Im going to wait to test drive the two of them before I decide. I imagine the BRZ will feel much more agile but extremely underpowered compared to the Mustang.

Realistically, the GTR is about $100k with tax. When it was supposed to be $69k before they released it, it was doable for me, and picking up a used 2009 was also a possibility, but a new one is a down payment on a house, and financing one if you cant afford it outright is a foolish venture.
