    i don't think chris used IPT's stuff, but i'm pretty sure he was doing the same thing back in 06.

    Automatic/Manual Shift Box 90-99 Eclipse and Talon Auto
    It has 3.5mm AUX input for an external control source. It really wouldn't be hard to figure out what you need to output from the paddles to get it to shift. The hardest part would be getting them mounted and spinning with the wheel. Most likely could just find a paddle shift kit with tactile switches on ebay and modify it to fit our steering column.

    i would have thought that cruise would have been a better sacrifice. i dunno. speaking of useless wires, i have radio controls on my wheel and nothing to connect them to.

    I used the cruise control wires and it works like a charm! Boy, no one can be saying that my car is not a proper sports car, because it is not manual anymore... I hate it when people say that!
