right. because a child is simply a machine that you---AND ONLY YOU--program. there are no environmental factors. did you ever take even one sociology class in your entire life?

Plus some kids are born mentally fucked up and no one in this world could ever fix them. Like ones that pull knifes on their siblings way too often...

Right. It's not the parents responsibility to raise their children in a good environment. Decent neighborhood. Good school.

    That was sarcasm. ^^^

do you even have kids? have you ever lived in a ghetto? do you have the foggiest idea about what trying to raise a kid in the inner city is like?

i pity your children who are going to be raised believing in 1000% internal locus of control. the world is going to rape them without lube.

Call the hollow points a creative flourish, meant to enhance and intensify the sentiment being expressed.

Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

No, and neither do you. Whats your point?

No, I haven't lived in a ghetto. Nor would I. I *WILL* raise my kids in an environment that I feel is good and safe for them. Maybe your not reading my posts? The whole post you quoted was about raising my kids in a good environment. What does living in the inner city have to do with anything.

I'm assuming the world has already raped you without lube with such a cynical view of it.

My sister had all the same opportunities I did and made bad decision after bad decision. Even today I don't understand a lot of the choices she makes. I think IPD had a point, but we're talking about pretty extreme children, here... Nothing remotely close to the girl being discussed in the video.

right. and my point was that you take step after progressive step to get them back in line. and only once everything else fails...THEN you make them fend for themselves. 99% of rebelliousness can be quelled in this way.

I have several siblings ranging from completely rebelious in every way eventually killing themselves via drug overdose to participated in every club in highschool, graduating top 10% and getting a masters degree.

There are all kinds of factors that effect how a kid will turn out. I still don't think parents should give up on their kids. Regardless of the circumstances.

Just my opinion. My .02 cents.

Seems like he is being a child. Like all southern raised dads that I personally know. Seriously though, what kids havent said shit like that about their parents or thought they were always right and have to do oh so much work. Its part of growing up and being a teenager. (At least for most of my generation)

I honestly dont think these actions will solve anything. Plus he is just going to look like an asshole to all her facebook friends.

He just shot a laptop that he paid for? What a dumbass... haha.

Also, note he said stepmother. That means there was a divorce. None of us know at what age it happened and what it has done to her emotionally. Plus the affect of having a stepparent..

Facebook is evil. Ive been boycotting for months I honestly dont know how long its been, at least 5 or 6? But once you are free, damn does it feel good.

edit: What the hell is the point of using hollow points on a laptop?
You didn't read all of the thread. Specifically the stuff I quoted from his facebook page. Didn't even remotely turn out they way you think it did. The guy is exactly what I thought he was, a Southern gentleman with an intense desire to see his child have all the resources to develop into a well rounded adult. His relationship with his daughter appears to be very close, as well.

The divorce had nothing to do with anything. On his FB page he posted that he discussed the daughters actions with the ex-wife, first. She did, indeed, tell him to put a bullet through the laptop for her, after hearing the full story.

There's an enormous dichotomy between running your mouth to one of your friends about your parent(s), versus broadcasting it to the world via social media.
