they are using a cruddy ad service to make extra money. The whore ad seller doesn't care who they sell ads to, and a malware installer is using that ad service...

And they make more money because they are installing malware... simply don't use shady ad services... but they usually pay better, so its a matter of greed

AF didn't get "hacked", per se.

It was third party content displayed on their site. Since 3si doesn't host the ads on their own servers, it depends on other websites to continuously supply fresh ads.

As April said, Adblock is an amazing thing, but even further, if you're a paid member, you can disable nearly all the ads to begin with (in your profile account settings -- you know, when its working ).

Who says I'm defending 3si? It a business, ergo it makes money. Tired of reading people bitching, about AF being greedy, when the don't have to go to that site, and *almost* everything is free to do on that site to the average person.

There are better things to bitch about... not about how they make money off ads that can easily be blocked.

Sorry but AF's shit gets old. I don't want to wear a condom when I screw my wife and I don't want to worry if every computer has anti-AF fail installed. They suck plain and simple. You're going to get that here.
