    3000gt vs stealth wiring harness

My main front body wiring harness and fuse box were in pretty bad condition, so when I saw one for sale I jumped on it. I'm in the process of installing it and I've gotten to the passenger side under the dash.

The problem is first of all the 3000gt harness has 2 extra plugs. I assume this is due to the active aero and wouldn't worry too much. The problem is the 3 plugs that do match up do not have the same color or quantity of wires in them. There are some pins that were in my old stealth harness that aren't in the vr4 harnesses.

Both are from 1992 models and both are turbo.

Has anyone run into this before? I'm pretty committed to replacing the harness at this point, so hopefully someone has some experience with this.

I have a 92 stealth Tt in the shop right now with a vr4 front body harness. If I get time I'll check out the connectors. I'm guessing most of the problems are on the passenger side of the harness? I know there are a couple of wires that run to the driver side for active aero as well.

yeah the passenger harness that goes through the side of the body and then into the under dash area. You can get to it with that plastic thing under the glovebox lowered. The driverside seemed to line up well, but I didn't check every wire.

well I got the 1992 stealth harness in and it matched up perfectly. I wouldn't recommend mix-matching 3000gt vs stealth harnesses at this point.

Not too hard, but let me know if you guys have any questions about the process of installing the main front body harness with main fusebox.
