    Bumper reconditon

Is there anyone that redoes bumpers? I've seen recondioned bumpers on craigslist for $350 and was wondering if anyone knows how this is done?

Here is a link to a company called Bumper 911 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Looks like they can fix bumpers like ours at a reasonable cost. Once I get my car back on the road I was going to call them as I have quite a few bad spots in both the front and rear bumper covers that I need fixed.

skirts are FG, bumpers are urethane, iirc. probably a bit easier to work on bumpers if you're experienced at plastic welding.

the skirts are not fiberglass, they are a type of plastic.

yeah I think they are closer to ABS plastic, very stiff and brittle.
