I remember some tables and some other things a while back that had this same issue. If you could pick up about what a chest X-ray would give you then it's probably about 30-60mr/hr on contact. Makes me wonder how hot the piece was that got tossed into the smelter. I've worked with Co60 a lot, it's a big gamma emitter. I don't think this is a real big deal but you wouldn't want this sitting on your night stand for years.

How the hell did they catch it before any customers purchased them? Factory must have oticed something wierd. Also Aldi is German not Indian. I used to shop at Aldi in Melbourne and I didn't come across a single item made in India.
