SL Springs with ECS

I've been out of touch with the 3/S community for a while now. My car has been sitting in the garage for about 2 years now, and I'm ready to pull it out, but I want to change the springs on it first. They currently have eibach ground controls on them, but I want something that's a lot smoother, but not have quite as much as a wheel gap as the stock springs. It can be just the slightest drop, as I was originally looking to put eibach's on, but they no longer make springs for an SL with ECS. What other springs are out there that will meet this criteria?

The Vogtland's are the only spring I know offhand besides OEM that give a smoother ride than the Eibachs, but I dunno if I'd call it a lot smoother. Drop is similar to the Eibachs.
The fwd tt in my garage pics is on Vogtlands, for an idea of drop.

Seems like Vogtland is the way to go. Only $230 too.

Yea, it's definitely been a while. I haven't been lurking around the forums in a couple of years. I just haven't had the time. I haven't even driven a 3/S since I totalled my VR-4 almost 2 years ago. It wasn't a total loss though, the car had a lot of work that needed to be done to it.

The vogtland's look pretty good and seem like the way to go, and priced good, too. Although, I wonder how they compare in ride quality to the H&R springs, which are pretty close to the same price. The vogtland's look like they have about .4" in drop.

If ya'll had a meet next month, I might stop by for a little while depending on when it is. I doubt I'll be driving my 3/S though as I'm at least just trying to find the time to replace a few things before driving it by this summer.

Meet is at the Red Robin in Jones Valley. I don't own a 3/S anymore but Rob does and he will be driving his VR-4 and I bet his wife will bring her Evo X. Hopefully I have my Talon running by then.

They're virtually identical to the Eibach's drop wise, with a better ride. Can't tell the difference sitting side by side in the driveway anyway.


The left is Vogtland, the right is Eibach, both on KYB struts.
