    cams

    i was wondering is there a difference in cams from 91-92 heads and 93-99? i ask this because i have fresh 93 heads with high rev springs and 99 lifters in them but am going to run them in my 91
    1991 3kgt sl, all forged internals, 450cc injectors, 13t's, eBay turbo back, walbro 255, hks ssqv bov,turbo smart mbc, 3sx fuel loop, 3sx polly mounts, 3sx dual core rad, FMIC, 99 big bore lifters, xtd stage 3 clutch

    you should be fine to run them on their . i have never heard of an issue and having had both 91 and 94 heads off and iinspected never seen a difference

    Yes the cams are different [changed part number after late 1992]. But I believe you can still use any cam and you can use the 99 lifters in any model. I have them in my 1990 JDM GTO

    Just making sure bc they are 93 heads I am putting cas in but If I have to I would use the cam and Crandall sensor just wanted to know If anyone has done it before

    You can run the 1G cas on 2G heads and 1G cams in 2G heads no problem.
