I noticed that actually, my Gen2 has a green flake through the paint..it's on the stock wing and all, yet the black 99 wing I have is just base black.

There is a brownish hue in the 99's black along with the green flake. If you snag a set of sails and put it aside the early cars black you can see how washed out it looks in comparison.

Cant wait to finish all my work on the car(lol) and repaint this POS a true black.

I agree the worst is the fugly purple (orchid pearl) followed by the Ford Probe Teal. From what I've seen over the years in the for sale ads is the least favorite of the common colors is the green pearl.

I must have gotten it confused with a custom Turquoise I saw on a Stealth a few years ago that looked surprisingly good. Then again I might just be getting senile...

Turquoise on the Stealth isn't custom, it was only offered for one year, in 91, called Bright Turquoise/Napier Blue (the same as Jamaican Blue.) The rest of the years are the Teal color.

I'm talking about the teal that's on the stealths.

    Like this...

    Zach.
That teal was on both Stealth and 3000gt.

The colors I've always hated the most were the Champagne/Beige color, and that Olive Green color.

Never liked the Olive Pearl. Thankfully, they didn't make too many of them. And most of the green cars I've seen have some really bad clearcoat peeling problems.

A shop in Alma, MI did a superb job with my Pearl Yellow.
