regardless, bama lost--they should NEVER have gotten a 2nd chance. that's not how it works in the NFL; playoffs aren't a double-elimination deal. should have been okie state vs. LSU. period. fuck bama.

I agree, but don't hate on Bama for it, hate the system. The BCS's slogan this year has been "Every game counts" but that is obviously not the case.

    LOL Tecmo Bowl reference.

BTW Tyler, we play Tecmo Super Bowl (and sometimes other NES games) every day at lunch if you'd like to join us sometime.

Would you be surprised to know that I never played Tecmo Bowl?

I will have to take you up on that offer one day.

Absurd argument. Not worth responding to, but I did, so F it.

First of all, OSU wouldn't have been playing Alabama.

Second, using your logic, since 'Bama barely beat LSU in game #1, who says OSU wouldn't curb-stomp Stanford in game #2?

Third, honestly examine the schedules of the top SEC teams and support your claim that Stanford would finish behind Bama, LSU, Arkansas, Georgia and South Carolina. Personally, I'd love to see Stanford vs Bama or LSU.

You might as well start arguing that Arkansas would beat Oklahoma State because K-State gave OSU a better game. Just ignore all the individual match-ups, injuries, team confidence, and any evidence that might suggest the SEC isn't other worldly (Arkansas barely beating the 7th best team in the B12 at a neutral site; a down Boise State handling UGA; etc...)

Alabama was waaaaaaay better prepared than LSU. I think LSU just overlooked them since they beat them before.

BTW I heard the LSU bus couldn't make it out of the hotel parking lot this morning. Somebody painted a 50 yard line at the exit. lol
