I've actually had this idea for a long time, but have never went through with it. What I actually want is a 3 way switch. Full-closed (to go through catback), full-open (to be loud from idle to WOT), or WOT actuated. Glad to see others have the same vision.

    They sure are fun though.
It only takes like a second, *maybe* two, honest. I'll shoot a vid.

Indeed it is, although I've had much better luck with dyno days since then.

Cool, now give a brother a call once and a while and tell me about it you prick

I know you can't be that busy. I bet you can't even shoot a gun off your porch there.

I'd love to do this but here in PA we have yearly safety inspections that do not allow any form of cutout. No pass insp. no drive on roads

Cars are a lot louder when you're not using turbos as mufflers :P

You just have to go to the right inspection station. I got several places that I could go with a cut out without an issue. Hell I shouldn't even be able to pass because of my tint and an honest inspection station passes me.

I'm in violation of so many CA laws, I'm probably a felon.

I'm hoping to get back to Knoxville at some point, but yeah I'll try to give you a call.

Dude I live in Los Angeles... there are ways. Do what I did and put it on a test pipe. Swap for the cat when you need to get inspected.
