    Since the time I last posted in this thread, a new product came out you might want to look into adding yourself:

    Accelerator Series SSD Cache Drives

    I've read a little about these and will be picking up one for my wife's PC. The reviews I've read have been been pretty optimistic overall about the ability of these cache drives to speed up systems without having to have multiple logical drives.

    Cool idea but they are only SATA II speed [3Gb/s] and only 280Mb/s read. The corsair Force GT series 3 is SATA III 6Gb/s and upto 550Mb/s read.
