Nah... runoff will just be tires. The subframe and suspension to ground height clearance is actually higher than the stock location. And the underside will be completely enclosed by an undertray. Front, all the way to the rear.

Seriously though, I looked at all the geometry and the cad data upload into simulator with angles. You just can't correct the tie rod and control arm to upright angles without changing the entire hub assembly and subframe pickup points or adapting a rediculious shim and bumpsteer correction kit (that no one has ever produced BTW). If you don't you want 2" of shock travel you have to change the upright. You can't fix it with just the subframe alone. You want to have suspension travel the height of a $1 bill?

Then, when that's done, add another mega bucket of seat time. The biggest adjustment that will need to be done is the "nut behind the wheel".

I'm not building a car to show up and run. I'm building one to show up and win. My out of pocket on this really isn't that bad in the scheme of things. The only thing I've had to buy so far is the cage material, turbo's, some gaskets, and the paint. I've traded for nearly everything, and the chassi was gifted to me. I'll spend 30K on this car tops. That's still significantly less than what's vested in my streetcar and much less than... blue velocity... Edit... and the purple people eater!
