It's great to have enthusiasts like Alan who care enough about the community to start up another site for the 3si owners.
I never got an email from anyone, but I was lucky enough to stumble across this still. I hope it builds up strongly.
Indeed, I wasnt cool enough to get an email...but after seeing all the threads about this place on 3si i had to join up. Glad I did!
