Because if you switched 71 and 72, the result is inversed ?

You can test it easyly by disconnect the front O2, and show result in EVOScan by "0"

I don't understand, it's switched here: MUT Requests - EvoEcu
The v2.9 xml was verified on a test bench. 5v was applied to pin 71 and verified that evoscan showed the result. The rest of the world has it wrong....

Greg thought id share this with you

with the new version of chrome u have the map scaling which means u can kinda use what u want

EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts

its an adapter that will fit the 2g/evo map sensors

its a remote setup but can also be welded to aftermarket intake manifods just thought id share

also in the part describing the map sensor u spoke about using the evo x map
can any evo map be used?

also seeing omnipower 3 bar replacements any changes needed to run these?

The omni sensors plug into the OBD2 map sensor harness but unfortunately they don't fit onto our plenums. Some minor grinding could be enough but I don't go for "make it fit" style set ups. Bob Melton has one on his 99 which he had to flip around 180 degrees and grind to make fit.

Your best cost option is the GM 3 bar and mount it onto the firewall. Run a vac one to it from the nipple on the back side of the plenum.

To wire it up, the easiest way is to buy the GM pigtail and wire it to the EGRT harness as that has the signal and ground. Most people tap the TPS for 5V power. The last thing you'll need is to make sure the EGRT signal pin goes into pin 92 of the flash ECU on your adaptor harness. I'm also fairly certain you can talk Brett into making you a GM harness plug with wires long enough to reach the ECU and pins to make it a simple install affair.

ok well i already have the map adapter i posted above

was planning on getting an evo map
just wanted to make sure any oem evo map(not omni power) would work and if there was any scaling differences
and if the current scaling is for the evo map or the 3000gt
if for the 3000gt what is the proper scaling for the evo(sorry if i missed it somewhere)
also any difference in how much pressure(BAR) they can read

i also already had him make me a short extension off the ecu harness for map and widband thought about that when i ordered

The evo 8 and 9 map sensors are the same 1 bar sensors we have on the 96+ cars stock. I don't know the scaling but it can only go up to 2.2psi.

The adaptor you posted wont do any good. Even if you have the 96+ intake plenum that long nipple will hit the hood... There isn't any need to weld something like that on either. We have 2 nipples on the plenum already. 98/99 cars have 3.

you lost me?? hit the hood??
that adapter doesnt bolt to the plenum

that map bolts to that and u run a vac/boost line to a source

ok this adapter has been mentioned in post 363-368 on this thread just stumbled across it trying to explain what it was

u say the evo 8-9 map sensors are one bar but only 2.2 psi ??

i thought one bar was about 14psi

so i would need an evo x map and scaling
Just found your thread on evo x map and scaling lol

    Ah okay! That is handy!

...but still easier to setup/run the GM sensor.

1 bar meaning its range is from -12psi (about 18mmHG) to 2.2 psi. One bar of range which is mostly extended in the vaccum range. Make sense?

Hey Greg, I think I might have bricked my ECU. I attempted to flash V2 without the proper voltage after working 10 hours straight to get the car back together (very stupid I know). I get the following error from ECUFlash when I attempt to flash to any ROM. .

    [] kernel flash enable
[] kernel blank flash page: addr: 0002C000
[] WARNING: failed to erase page at 0002C000!
    [] kernel flash disable
    [] interface close
I am able to read from the ECU but since the flash corrupted all of the tables are blank and it only shows the ROM info. Any idea what I can do? I tried reflashing right away with the battery on a charger at a steady 12.9V and it will still give the error.

lol ok well would you have the proper scaling for the 3 bar or 4 bar gm sensors haha

lol yes now i get what your talking about wasnt even thinking about it that way

You gotta send the ECU to Brett or Adam to be repaired. The CPU needs to be replaced.
