Ive got 300M coils just waiting to be installed too..
I'm thinking of trying a COP system too, but that will have to wait until spring.
I don't know if there would be any benefit in changing the dwell on stock coils, if someone was using an aftermarket coil pack (MSD, Accel, etc.) it may increase spark output. I also have no real data to base that off. I thought about playing with it, but didn't feel like burning up my coils.
yea dwell(charging) time is pretty important. its the reason why COP makes less power than stock because the stock dwell is set to charge one coil not two. but increasing time puts load on the ptu and it can burn up
theres a lot too it that i really dont fully understand but i feel like still having a coil pack is the best option because the stock ecu cant do sequential ignition but i think we could upgrade to different coils
I enabled bit 2 of periphery 0, now the trims are cycling like they should....BUT the car still has startup problems. 7 times out of 10 I need to unplug the injector resistor pack to start the car. It seems like its more of an issue on hot starts than cold starts. I have 2 sets of latency values for the same injector (delphi 1000cc/pte1000cc). I'm gonna trying switching the values to see if it helps. Also going to monitor fuel trims.

No the problem is you need to edit the startup tables which aren't visible in V1. Have you read my Disasembly thread about the Start up routine? I think it's still on the first page of the general section.
Tell you what. Email me the tune currently flashed to your car and I'll edit the start up tables for you and send it back.

Hey thanks a bunch...I really appreciate it. Even if the tables were visible I don't think I would know what to do....why do they need to be modified anyways? Aside from the fact that I'm running significantly larger injectors??
All the flooding has resulted in a random multiple misfire being thrown...now I'll have to change my plugs too...

That's exactly why. Read the thread.
