If Im reading correctly I have to swap wires from 71 & 72 and 73 & 74. Which seems like the four wires in the top row right corner of the middle connector??
Connector A is the right one in the pic. Connector B is the middle one. Connector C is the one on the left in the pic. Count your number of pins in a row and then look at the connector. Connector C has three pins in a row 75-77 whereas connector A has them in pairs on the top row from pins 1-8.

So the question is, how would the vr4 .xml behave with an SL rom. I read my ecu and saved my ROM. My particular interests is disabling CELs... since I get many from having swapped a Fed spec motor into a Cali spec car. Also just looking to get a taste of things to being overcoming the learning curve.

Could anyone provide info on a .xml for SL? If there is any

    Thanks
you can use the VR4 rom and xml, you will just lose your variable intake runner function.

    Thanks for replying.

Sort of unfortunate. I wouldn't particularly want to lose my VIC. I imagine there is a way to keep the functionality of the VIC... I'm guessing its just an addition to make to the .xml.

Any suggestions to modifying the vr4 .xml for full SL usage?

It requires rom changes that *may* be available in the future.

For now I would lock it in the high rpm mode.

Actually, its been Dyno proven that switching to a TT intake plenum gets very significant gains. Just a suggestion.

You'll need to scale your MAF and injectors in the TT ROM in order to use it as well as disable the extra peripheries for the turbo cars that aren't present on your NA.

its cool, i sent him the correct xml so no need for extra work,

and its definitely a good idea to grab a TT upper manifold because its only like $40 on ebay for 15hp,

i'll also say that with a stock fuel system that the afr matches the values in the fuel map almost exactly so there is really no need for a wideband

    That's not entirely true.

The fuel table is scary accurate on a stock car with stock MAF but I wouldn't ever try tuning a car without the wideband.

Really? I though I remember hearing that switching to a TT plenum on an NA decreases low end power. But I have 2 extra TT plenums laying around... so doing that would be very easy for me.

So I understand scaling the injectors, but what do you mean by scaling the MAF? I actually have 2 or maybe 3 TT MAF's laying around. I didnt know there was a difference between NA and TT.

The MAF is scaled just like every other sensor on the car. If you use the TT scaling that will cause your trims to go out of whack. I don't remember if Jeff or Ceddys basic NA disassembles have those tables or not. I can find them if need be.

Using a TT MAF will correct the size and adder value but the scaling will still be off because the intake setups are completely different on an NA vs TT.
