What does the 1/8 in adapter that comes with the conversion harnesses do? I've plugged my odbII cable in but have nothing for that plug. I've got the tactrix with Mitsubishi reflash cable.

it plugs straight into the tractrix. You don't need the mitsu reflash cable.

I just need to go get a male to male cable then, as the one on the harness is female.

Yes you do. I already asked 99VR4 about this. He was getting parts in to make them for ppl. He didn't want to put a male plug on the adapter harness, as there is ECU power on that plug, and if it touched the car chassis anywhere, it could damage the ECU from a dead short. I guess the Mitsu reflash connector comes with a male to male cable, but you don't need the rest of the connector. $11 for a male to male cable is kinda pricey.
