Didn't see much info here about wideband logging, care to share more? I haven't gotten a chance to mess with mine much.

Also has anyone figured out 2byte load location yet?

All of that has been figured out

Thanks Aaron, I need to continue reading I guess. I just need more hands on time with it as well, but I think I'm fighting with a bad conversion cable.

you just need to hookup your wideband positive to pin 93 on the 99 connector and check the box for wideband (aem uego in my case) in evoscan. Be sure you are running the latest xml file in this thread.

here is a question for you guys. I am running an aem fpr and it solved some problems, but like many aftermarket parts it created others. I was overrunning the stock fpr with a hotwired pump, so I went to the aem unit and it is able to provide the stable fuel pressure I need. It also lets me run higher than base pressure to stretch my injectors. The problem is it bleeds off pressure instantly and requires an extra second or 2 to start.

With the flashable ecu stretching the injectors has become redundant. I can easily drop in 660s or larger when I feel like it and just retune the scaling and latencies. Presumably the issue of overflow will still remain.

Since latency adjustments have such a huge effect on idle afr, could I not just use those to turn out the overflow with no negative effects? There are other possible solutions, such as adding fuel pump prime on key on or rewiring the fuel pump circuit and using an ecu that supports the dual mode fuel pump voltage. I would love the prime on key on, but it is unclear so far if this is going to be possible like it is with DSMlink. Going back to the dual mode fuel pump voltage would require a substantially more expensive ecu and further complication.

I want LESS complication, not MORE. I don't want to rig a bunch of crap to work around an aftermarket part. To me the stock FPR now seems like the best solution if the overrun can be tuned out as easily as I imagine. What do you think?

I will work on the ROM mod to make the fuel pump engage with the ignition instead of crank rotation.

that would be great and save me + others a bunch of trouble! I'll be able to test this easily as I have a fuel pressure gauge.

I believe so . . . but Greg will need to know the scaling factor.
