I tried this, but still have the p0141 CEL. Anyone else have this issue?

Not sure if you tried it, but after flashing have EVOscan reset trouble codes "check engine light", should stay off, after that, or at least in my case that was what worked.

Yep. Even with the bits disabled, you still have to clear the codes.

Yes I tried that several times. I flashed it, restarted, cleared the codes. Restarted again, and the code occurred again. I restarted and recleared the code 2 or 3 times and it kept coming back. Would disconnecting the battery help? (Does that clear short term things from the ECU such as CELs?)

No, you just missed a bit. That code is for the front secondary O2 sensor heater. Do you have that eliminated?

Look more carefully at the list Aaron posted. Check bit 2 of the 272 bit set.

I just checked and I believe that I have all mine set the same, including bit 2 of 272 set to 0.

Do you still have my email? Shoot me a copy of the image currently flashed to your car.

Alright, finally figured it out. For some reason, EvoScan was not actually clearing the CEL code. I would read the codes, and get the P0141. Then I would clear the codes. Then I would read the codes, and no codes would appear. Based on that I assumed it was clearing the code. However, I finally watched the detailed text on EvoScan very closely when doing this, and I noticed something odd. When I would go to clear the code it didn't give an obvious error message (ok not obvious to me anyway) but the wording of text on one of the lines made it sound like it didn't actually clear the codes. Though I'm still not sure why it wouldn't show the CEL code after that? FYI, the car was running to make sure that I had good voltage because I've been told that the connection is sensitive to voltage.

So once I realized this, I repeatedly cleared the codes until it finally worked once. And finally, the code is gone.

My bad for not paying closer attention to EvoScan when clearing the codes, although I am also a bit disappointed that EvoScan does not seem to be providing a very reliable program/interface. (or maybe it's my ECU?......hopefully not)

Anyway, thanks to everyone for all of the assistance. I'm a bit ashamed that it took me this much time to figure out such a small issue. Hopefully things will go better once I get around to adding bigger injectors and doing "real" tuning.
