Real quickly, whats the benefit of hacking the stock MAF?

Keep us posted. It would be great to test the various types of Intake Metering systems and see which one works best for what application...
Get the Evo MAF. It should be good for your setup. Your setup will def overrun the stock MAF.

FYI I have 13t's, and EVO 560 injectors. I'm running 14psi on pump gas, and I noticed my AFRs got a lot more stable at high RPMs after switching to the Evo MAF from the stock MAF.

That being said, no matter how simple the arc-2 is, it is far from perfect, and the flashed ecu is a huge upgrade in my opinion.
At the end of the day it's still a simple piggyback that can get the job done. I like having fine tuning which is what I got the flashed ECU setup for. I just haven't had time to mess with it plus I have more maintenance items to go so I just wanted to the car to run for now. I'm considering giving the EVO MAF a shot until I upgrade past DR-750s since it won't be able to handle it.

Has anyone considered sticking stock or EVO MAF's on each turbo? If it could be tuned properly, I imagine the turbo's would spook much quicker and you might maintain stock driveability.

Nice, looking forward to what you find out. I did a little reading and Mellon and TT Eric talked about it on 3si for a little bit.
what is the limitation of the stock MAS? - Page 44 - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center - page 43 and 44

I vaguely remember reading someone else did it a long time ago as well.

Won't work. The ECU code and hardware is only set up to accommodate one signal. You'd need an external box to capture both inputs and then feed some kind of average into the stock input.

    Yep....

Why go to that effort when a single EVO MAF will work for as much as 700whp?

...or the current aftermarket MAFs for our cars work well beyond that.

I think you'd find that it's not that simple. Both MAF won't show the same flow. This has to do with differences in innercooler pipes and exhaust header setups.

I think I'll pickup up a 98/99 ECU from cherry hill soon. I ordered blackstealths harness today and I already have evoscan, so I guess all I need now is the Tactrix Openport 2.0 I'm on stock injectors and 9bs atm running 14lb boost. Got the supra fuel pump hotwired. I have 680 injectors and Arc2 w/92 maf to install once I get either DR650 or 750 turbos.

So, before I flash the 98/99 ecu I should just be able to hook it up in my 97 (with blackstealths harness) and run the car without any issues, correct? Would like to first test and see data logging with the 98/99 ecu, as the 97 ecu suck balls, before flashing and installing injectors/arc2

    Thanks.
