Our solenoid is a 5.4W, 12V solenoid. It measures 32ohms of resistance.

With that, we can calculate a peak amperage of .375A (375mA).

The valve is a 3-port solenoid, but can be used in 2-port mode. What that means is that you can choose to have it either normally open or normally closed, based on how you connect your hoses.
