Ok good to know the reasoning behind not including a male end connector. I have the mitsu reflash connector sitting in my lap right now and it's got one male end that plugs into the tactrix but the other end is actually an ODBI port.

So modern evo's have both an ODBI and II port, but the ODBI is only used for flashing the ecu, and only when the tactrix is plugged into the ODBII port.

I'll run out and get a cable so I can get to flashing!

I just went to radio shack and they soldered a cable together for me for only $4. That an option if you don't want to wait for a cable shipping to you.

Alright I got it flashed and it fired right up! Ran around 15.5 afr but I only let it run for about 2 minutes so that might settle lower if i leave it to run a bit more. I'm pretty happy that I've finally got an easy and complete tuning system. You rock Greg.

I took it out for a drive and am running really lean, wideband was showing ~15.5 when cruising, and it would die every time I came to a stop. The o2 feedback trims are showing a max of 12.65 for most of the journey so that would mean it's trying to add fuel. All I messed with on the stock tune was the injector size to 550 and the latencies, along with disabling some CEL's.

I would upload the log but I can't attach it because there's no compatibility button on the uploader.

Whats your low vs mid trim?

If both are +12 then drop your injector scaling size 10%.

If idle is a lot higher than the cruise trim then add 10% to your injector latency and go logging again.

I'm using windows 7 and the only way to see that there are log files other than the two samples evoscan comes with is to hit the compatibility files button when in a folder. Those files can't be seen by an uploaded because it lacks that compatibility button.

The injector scaling is so far off the ecu will not update the trims. I've seen it do this

Drop your injector scaling 10%. If you have 550 in there change it to 500. Copy the logs to your desktop, then upload tjem.

I'll drop them and see what happens.

For the logs I've already tried that with the same result, not showing up. I'll try a different way but I'm at work now so it'll be a late update tonight.
