Greg, is there a table where you can change the load at which the ecu changes from closed to open loop? I feel like at lowish rpms (2000-2500) the car is sluggish because the ecu is trying to keep thing stoich. Then it rockets forward at 2500 as the ecu finally decides to add fuel.

I've been able to combat a bit of this using the fuel map, but it seems like the wrong way to do it. Either the maf scaling at that range needs tweaking or the closed loop threshold needs to be lower.

I experienced the same issue on my car. Tweaking this table helped a lot!

excellent, that helps validate my problem. I'm hitting pretty high loads at low rpm.

below about 2500 the ecu doesn't seem to know what to do with that much load.

I'll be trying to go a step beyond that, and keep using my MAFT-Pro in speed density mode. I'll start by zero-ing out the global injector scaling, and the low, mid, and high AFR correction tables. We'll see how it goes, after the car is back together and running.

If you develop a good airflow/ve map it should work just as good as the stock ecu, if not better. It will be awesome if they find enough space in the stock rom to do the calculations.

I'm running a 3.5"gm maf and maft in blow through with rc550 injectors using my 98SL flashed ecu in my 97. Also running on e85 right now and absolutely loving it. Only thing I need to work on is rich starts as the ecu is staying in open loop for some reason, haven't really had time to play with it. The setup is the same concept as running the translator on a stock injector car, just zero out the translator box and tune with the flash.

I'm running a Greddy EBC, and intend on switching back to a boost control solenoid once I get all my 99 hardware together and in the car. Do you know if our cars work with the Evo X BCS or other aftermarket 3 port BCS's? Or is our stock one capable of handling higher boost ranges? Right now I have a spare stock Evo X one sitting in my garage, and I'd rather not drop the $15-$20 on a vr4 one if I don't need to.

I think I al going to get rid of my ebc also to return to stock boost control. I have one from a 98 eclipse, can it be used? Any other options to use as a viable replacement?
